Training
- At
Currys I have held many training sessions for my colleagues, some on a one to
one basis others in a large group on topics such as 3D television, Microsoft
Kinect, new promotions in store and also Sky TV and their contract proposition.
- During my time at Comet I was involved in a store redesign in Stockton, re-developing the displays, product placement and also designed a new layout for Monster Cable and Essentials in the Brown Goods department.
- Through working in the Grey and Brown goods departments I have gained extensive knowledge in these product areas and I was frequently called on to train other members of staff in our store.
- Also with me having 6 years in a retail environment I am used to meeting targets over multiple KPI’s and enjoy having these targets to meet and exceed.
- During
my final year at University I was the department head in three production roles
(costume, lighting and set design), managing teams of year one and year two
students in the creation and running of my designs within the main productions.
Communication
- Working in Korea has made me very effective at communicating, as sometimes the school owner will lack any English speaking ability, but this also led me to develop basic Korean language skills in which I can communicate, read and understand.
